Today we started the chapter on Mesopotamia.  We started talking about specific works of art.  Art of Jericho, Catal Huyuk, Sumer, Akkad, and Babylon were discussed.  The power point for this is on the website.

*Hint for next time:  We’ll have a little quiz next time on some of the art we saw so be ready.  Review your notes.  An extra credit question will be “What is the name of the Babylonian emperor that defeated the Assyrians?”  So look that one up and you’ll get it right on the quiz.
